We were a 1% club and I loved the whole life of being a one percenter. For ten years now I was the club president. I loved every single second of my life. I didn’t need a woman in my life. Women were something to be kept at an arm’s length. Plus, there was no woman that I had met that could be my Ol’ Lady anyway. Women were needy and would whine about everything, I didn’t need a nag, nope not me. Not now. Not fucking ever.

The only woman of my life passed away, my mother. She was my rock and sounding board. She was a strong woman and she kept my wild as in line most of the time. “So, let me get this straight, your sister is coming, and she had no idea that you are in a MC, or that you’re the VP of the club, and you want her to stay here?” I couldn’t keep the shit eating grin off my face. If I didn’t know the man I would say he was a pussy, and I would be offended that he was scared to own that he in a MC. But I got it, the bond him and his sister shared was special. He didn’t want her to be disappointed in the life he chose.

“Fuck, Brick. Look god damnit I know I fucking screwed up. But my apartment won’t hold her and her kids. She doesn’t know if she is moving here. She just wants to get a feel for the area. To see if she wants to set up roots here or not.” He threw his hands in the air and got a beer from the cooler. I glanced at the clock “A little early for a drink?” It was only eight in the morning.

“Fuck, no, it’s not. Look she is the last person I want to disappoint. But hell, I haven’t seen her in four years, and two of those years she had been fucking single in a fuck for brains town. Hell, I don’t even know if they rubbed off on her or not.” He ran his hands through his short blonde hair and yelled a few curse words before pacing again.

“Fuck, Blaze sit down your making me nervous.” I bounced my knee up and down. It was my nervous tick that I have had all my fucking life.

“Why the fuck are you nervous? Huh, it’s not your sister and her kids coming here.” He frowned at me. “Man, I’m sorry. I just you know I’m freaking right now.”

From what I knew about his raising, they were raised to respect all people from all walks of life. He had both parents but was an army brat. When he was fourteen, they both died and their crazy grandma picked up where his parents left off. She was a hippie of sorts and loved her pot. “If she is anything like you, then she will be fine. Hell Blaze your freaking for nothing, man.” I sighed. “Look I will move my shit out of the apartment above the tattoo shop. She can stay there for as long as she needs.” Blaze’s blue eyes bore into my hazel eyes. “You sure man. I hate to put you out.”

“It’s not a problem, brother. It’s time I finished my move into my house anyway.”

I was reluctant to finish the move. For no other reason than I hated change. But the five-bedroom house was too big for me. But it was time, I liked the house, it was on the lake a few minutes from the clubhouse. Sure, it was a bit much for a single man who didn’t want a woman in his life, but the house was in the perfect location and it needed a little work and the price was right. Secluded from the city of Redding, it was peaceful on the lake. Alone and away from most of the people. I liked that it was close to the clubhouse, meant if I needed to be there I could be there fast. If I wanted to, I could stay at on the compound like my old man and my ma did. But that cabin had too many memories in it. To say that I was running from my past was an understatement.

“Alright brother, thanks. Who knows she might come in for some ink.” He laughed as he down the rest of his beer. “I doubt it though. The only tattoo she has is of a star she got for our parents when she was seventeen. Doubt she got more; her ex was a piece of work.”

I didn’t like that her ex was a piece of work. Although I never met her before the pictures Blaze shared of his family back in Texas, his sister was pretty, but she looked like she conformed to be a typical mom in the suburbs. The thought of a soccer mom made me cringe on the inside. They were the worst sort of woman. Always uppity and not ready to get down and dirty or live on the wild side. If this was who his sister was, I could see why he would be worried. Hell, I was worried shoe could be bad for business.

“Only time will tell brother, who knows she may be completely different from the woman you knew four years ago.” People could change, but I doubted it. From what he knew she was pretty standard as they came, kept her hair the same length, did her make up daily and all of that girly shit. Why women thought they had to apply war paint to their faces I would never know, it seemed ridiculous to wear that shit all fucking day. Why a woman just didn’t go natural without makeup was beyond me. Even the club whores or sweet butts wore that shit. I never thought it looked good, it was fake. Sure, I liked it when a woman dyed her hair an unnatural color. Hell, I could get off on that shit. natural hair colors were fine. But if I wanted a woman to be tame, I could find one. They were a dime a dozen.

“Hey fuckers” Jag walked in too fucking chipper from the bender they had a few hours ago. He was our enforcer of the club. He was fucking good at his job too, too fucking good. He grabbed a beer and sat next to Blaze. “So, what are the plans for the day?” He said as he opened the beer and drank half before putting it back down. “Well I am getting ready to move my shit out of the apartment to my house.” Jag nodded his head before opening his mouth. “So, you need some help. I don’t have any clients today.” He wagged his eyebrows at me. Fucker loved his job. He ran the clubs protection agency that we did. On a rare occasion he would have to collect debts that were owed to the club. I swear he got off on that shit.

“I could use the help. I got to open the shop in a couple of hours anyway.” I stood and walked to the door. “Saddle up boys.” I yelled behind me. Throwing my leg over my bike. I started it and closed my eyes listening to the exhaust of my modified engine. Adding the cams was the best decision of the year. Twisting the throttle who needed a woman when a man had a beast between his legs. Wild and made a man feel like he had all the power in the world. instead of being tied down a bike let a man be free.

The ride to the shop was quick but blazing down the streets and hearing the exhaust from my bike and my brothers was music to my ears. Pulling in I backed into my usual parking space and took the stairs up the side of the building. It was going to be sad saying goodbye to the apartment, but I would be in the shop daily. I owned the building. Sinner’s Ink was my business and it thrived here in Redding. People always wanted some ink slapped on them. I was good at drawing from a kid, and tattooing was good for my soul. The hum of the gun and watching a piece of art coming to life was soul cleansing, it was second best to riding on the back of my bike.

Looking around the apartment after we got Stink eye there to borrow his truck. His Ol’ Lady was finishing cleaning the place up and putting sheets on the bed. “Let your sister know that I would love to watch her kids for her.” Amy was a cute woman, she was about tweenty-eight, She had been with Stink Eye since she was eighteen, unfortunately they couldn’t have kids, and adopting was out of the question since he was in the MC. The typical shit we faced. We were outlaws.

  Bad people, always causing trouble.

Not good enough to raise children.

My father was the President and was the best damn parent there was. He ensured that I had what I needed even it that meant a good ass whooping. If the fuckers in this city knew what we did for them they would change their fucking tune.

“I will, Amy. I’m sure she might take you up on the offer. Just a fore warning though. You are going to fall in love with her kids.” Blaze grinned from ear to ear. He loved his niece and nephew. He said his niece was going to be a genius or a politician. When I asked him why he smiled and just said “Sadie could con the President himself out of the Whitehouse.”

“I have no doubt that I will. We haven’t had small kids around the club in a while.” Amy rubbed her hands together and beamed up at her Ol’ Man. Stink Eye was ten years her senior, and he loved his Ol’ Lady completely. I knew him before he was tied down and the smiles that he gave his Ol’ Lady made a person fe
el like they weren’t in the room. I had never seen him more happy then when she said yes. But the man was ruthless when it came to club business. His famous stink eye made most grown men piss their pants. He kissed her quickly “You want to get them some toys, don’t you?” He asked her, she smiled and sighed. “Yeah, I do. But I don’t want to get the wrong things. What if she doesn’t approve?” She looked at Blaze. Amy was tall for a woman at five eleven and naturally blonde. She was skinny but not crack head skinny just went with her.

“Trust me, get the boy anything Harley related, and he will be happy. Sadie, she is eight and loves to read and draw. Never seen her with a barbie but I think she had a baby doll once.” He shrugged his shoulders.

“What about your sister, we should get her a welcome present or something.” She looked from her Stink Eye to Blaze waiting for approval.

“Yeah, some wine and pizza are about all she needs.”

She smiled and nodded her head. “Got it.” She took one more look around the apartment and walked out. Stink Eye followed her out hot on her heels. Those two still went after each other like they just met. It was something to set the bar for, to be able to have that would be alright. But that shit doesn’t happen to everyone. Not in the MC life. My parents had it, but I doubted that everyone could say that marriage life was bliss. Several of he married men still hit the sweet butts up.

“Thanks again brother. Do you mind if I invite her to the pig roast this weekend?”

“Sure brother, no other way than to break it to her than letting her see for herself.” The look on his face said it all. He looked like a deer in headlights. I laughed so hard I slapped my thigh. “For fucks sake it will be fine, man. C’mon I got to open the shop and make some money.”

“Blaze your sister don’t know about you, huh. I’m going need some popcorn for this shit show.” Jag laughed as he left the apartment. I took one more last look at the place I have called home for the past fifteen years and sighed. It was time to move on, my new home was waiting for me. I hated change, with a passion. The one thing that doesn’t change is my work and the love I have for my bike.

Tattooing has been my career since I was twenty-one. While most twenty year olds are waiting to be drunk for their upcoming birthday I was ready to take over the business. I knew what I wanted to do before I was ten years old. While most kids were dreaming about firemen and doctors I always knew two things I wanted to be the President of the Angels and Sinners and I wanted to be a tattoo artist. When I was eighteen my mentor was an old timer of the club, Whiskey was a damn good tattoo artist and an even better mentor. He offered to sell me the shop when he found out he had cancer. I was twenty-one So, I bought the fucker. I feel like I have accomplished all my dreams before I was even forty. Being thirty-five now, and still kicking it.

“Welcome to sinner’s ink. How can I help ya?” I asked as the college blonde and her little tribe came in. They pointed and laughed at the pin-up girls on the wall. Yeah immature for sure. Blondie came up to the counter wearing a too small tube top that had her overly large breast nearly falling out. I leaned back from the counter. I was never really a titty man now give me a firm round ass and I was good. I was no doubt an ass man. “We all want the same tattoo. What do you suggest?” she asked as she twirled her blonde hair and batted her fake lashes at me. How about get the fuck out of my shop?

“Tattoos are permanent. You have any idea what you want?” I know I sounded more gruff that I needed to. But she just irritated me plus, I had an appointment in two hours. So, if they wanted it today it would have to be small.

She leaned further over the counter. “Your hot, I want mine on my hip bone.” She batted her lashes at me again. She pulled out a folded piece of paper from her back pocket and laid it down. I unfolded it, it was small, and it was their sorority sign. “Alright, here are some forms and I am going to need all of your picture ID’s.” I shoved the forms at her and gave her four pens. I made the copy to the transfer paper. The best investment I ever made. Made making stencils fucking easier than having to trace them onto the transfer paper.

“C’mon.” was all I said as I went into the tattoo room. What I liked to call my office. Blondie got on the chair and started to pull her shorts down.

“You can touch me anywhere you want.” She gave me that duck face women do to look sexy. It repulsed me.

“Sorry, I am a tattoo artist nothing more.” She pouted.

“You got a lady at home or something?” She asked sarcastically.

You do realize that I am about to stick you with fucking needles. Fucking bitch. “Nope, just doing my job.” I said without a smile. “Fine, you must be gay or something.” I grunted my response. The tattoo took all of thirty minutes, it was thirty too fucking long she whined about it hurting the whole time. This is exactly why I don’t want a woman, to fucking whiney. The other three went off with a hitch. When I was done my appointment arrived.

“Hey, Brick. You take a look at that blonde. Fuck, you tap that?” He laughed and shook his head. He knew I wanted nothing to do with a woman. Sure, I had my share of women, but I tried not to fuck them more than once, any more than that and they got fucking ideas. Been a while though, ole handy has been my pleasure for last year for the most part. It’s not that I couldn’t get it when I wanted it. The Sweet butts were always around, and it was free pussy. There were a few times in the past year that I partook in the festivities of free pussy. Ginger was my go-to, recently. She was the most whiney when I wouldn’t let her stay in my room after I got done with her. Did I mention I hate whiners. I haven’t been back inside her in four months, and I don’t plan on slipping my dick in her fuck hole either.

“Snake, what’s shaking man?” I asked as I grasped my brother in a hug. We had been working on the full chest snake tattoo.

“Nothing much ready to add some more color to this piece.” He took off his shirt we finished the outline of the snake and scene last week. He had a full torso that had more than just a fucking huge ass snake. He called it a special kind of snake, anaconda or some shit. the large snake was curled in a loose ball on his chest with a pond and grass scene around it. It was something to see. One more session and it should be done.

My phone buzzed as I finished wiping down Snake and wrapping him in plastic wrap. I looked at message from Blaze. Incoming, she is early. She fucking sped the whole way here.

  I texted back ETA?

Fifteen minutes, you got the keys?

  Yeah. I’ll be here

“Blaze’s sister is coming in. she is about five hours early.” Snake’s eyes widened “is she hot?” was his response. Snake got his road name from using his cock too much. The one eyed snake is what we wanted to call him, but Snake stuck.

“Fuck if I know man. Get out so I clean my office.” Snake smirked and left the building. He was going to sneak a peek that much was for sure. He was the man whore of the club right behind him was Butch. Butch had a reason to be he managed the strip club Angels.

I heard Blaze before I saw him. What I didn’t expect to see was a bug traveling at the same speed he was. He had a smile on his face and shaking his head as he parked next to my bike. “Fuck, she fucking changed man.” Blaze was grinning as he said it though. Must be a good change.

All I saw through windshield was pink fucking hair. I wasn’t a fan of the color pink, but who knows. She got out and stood up, she stretched her body and I had to swallow hard. Her body was toned, she was short live maybe five foot five, but she pulled it off well. “Fuck, Blaze why didn’t you get her here sooner. Damn that is a fine piece of ass, I’d tap that.” Snake said to Blaze. Ah fuck Snake. “What the fuck man that’s my fucking sister.” Blaze yelled. Here we go. Welcome home Korey, now you get to see your Brother lose his shit and kill a man.

  Chapter 3

  Korey

It was eleven at night and I finally pulled into Redding. Sadie was asleep but not Sean. He saw a motorcycle and he was talking about it. “Mama, di yo se it, it wis f
as. It wen vroooom.” I laughed as I pulled into the next parking lot that I found that was well lit. “I did see it, and your right it was super-fast.” I pulled out my phone and called Maverick. I knew I was early, but when the kids were asleep, I pressed the petal to the metal and vroomed myself.

“Hey sis, where are you at?”

“Uh, I’m in Redding right now, at a gas station by the stop light. It’s called Pete’s gas and shop.” I stated.

“Fuck, what did you do ninety the whole way here?”

“Well yeah. I was excited to see my baby brother.” I chuckled to myself.

  “Alright be there in ten.”

  “Cool beans.”

The line went dead as we waited for him. Sean watched out the window. “Mama, you thik uncle Mav has a motor?”

“I don’t know baby, maybe he does.” I smiled hoping he did. It would make Sean’s night for sure.

“Mama, mama, mom, mama, hur come one now.” I heard the exhaust before I saw it. It slowed down and pulled into the lot next to my car. The behemoth that sat on the bike didn’t look like my brother until he pulled his helmet off. My baby brother got bigger, is that even possible. When he got off the bike I was stunned. The little annoying a hell baby brother was now a fucking hulk of a man. I opened the door and laughed at my silly wish that Mav was on bike. “Damn, Maverick you grew up on me baby brother.” Sean was getting out of the bug and ran up to his uncle Mav. “You hav a motor!” He jumped up and down and clapped his hands. I noticed his vest that plainly stated he was the Vice President and his name was Blaze. I looked at him, and raised my eyebrow giving him my best mom look. “You got something to tell me little brother?”

He looked down at his cut “Awe Fuck I meant to take it off. Look sis, don’t be disappointed okay. I’m in an MC. The Angel’s and Sinner’s.” He looked like he was going to be sick.
